Snow White Cherry*
Black Cherry
Black Russian
Aunt Ruby's German Green
Green Grape
Kosovo*
Kellogg's Breakfast*
Earl of Edgecombe*
Mystery Pink spawned from last year's Crnkovic Yugoslavian
Jaune Flammee
Principe Borghese
Riesentraube
There will be a few others, for sure. These were sown last Saturday and will start appearing by next Monday. I cannot read or hear the word Kosovo without thinking of my dear Glenn Parker, who introduced the variety commercially...and Kosovo has been in the news a lot lately!
All, except the Principe Borghese, were from saved seed going back to 2002-2007.

First BLT of the Season
Glenn Parker's Kosovo was the first tomato of sandwich substance to ripen this year. Bless Glenn. He is such a dear penfriend of mine.
The avocado was gratuitous, so I took mine out and gave it to the boy. We used Mahogany Smoked Meats bacon, affectionately known as "crack bacon" in this house. We also used nutritionless, but crunchy iceburg lettuce.
It was divine.
We hardly spoke for the 2-3 minutes we ate. I guzzled down some girlfriend ales (Pyramid Apricot and something weird and organic from Chicago) as dessert.
Certainly no time to take a snap. Maybe later in the week. Sandwich candidate number two will likely be a Kellogg's Breakfast (ooh, that sunny orange shall make a nice picture).

All hail the weekend
I think I'm in love with the Scottish pop band Camera Obscura. Been hearing them on Radio Active. The band remind me of the Sundays had a baby with Altered Images had a baby with the Lucksmiths.
Going for a ski tomorrow. Must make use of those ever so dear Mammoth Value Passes. Jean-Mi and Lucie will be flying up for the day (knowing snooty "ooooooOOOOO" goes here. Nah, they are hitching a ride with a friend with a plane). There will probably be a million others there, too.
Staring tomato seeds for the year on Sunday. March the latest I've sown seeds in the 8 years I've been at it. Preliminary list includes:
Kosovo
Snow White Cherry
Kellogg's Breakfast
Crnkovic Yugoslavian
Moneymaker
Earl of Edgecombe
Opalka
Green Grape
